Robert Lyste Thornton was a Canadian-American physicist who oversaw the constuction and operation of the Beta calutron electromagnetic separation Plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee during the Manhattan Project.
In 1942 Gordon joined the Radiation Laboratory at the Berkeley campus. He worked at the Davis campus as well.
Walter J. Skora served in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron.
John Streib was a staff worker at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project.
