Robert J. Valley served as a technical sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the tail gunner of the B-29 Full House, which served as a weather reconnaissance plane on the Hiroshima bombing mission, and the backup strike plane on Iwo Jima on the Nagasaki mission.
John Mench was assigned to the Special Engineer Detachment at Los Alamos where he worked as a pattern maker, creating wooden casts for metal work at the site’s foundry.
L. W. Russell worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
White worked for Stone and Webster Engineering Corporation.
