Florence Pachter Schulkin served in the Women’s Army Corps at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project.
Richard F. Cannon served as a corporal in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was assigned as the radar operator in the Necessary Evil, but flew in the Big Stink in the 1945 bombing mission on Nagasaki.
Martin Skinner was born and raised in Michigan, just outside of Detroit. He was trained in Chemical Engineering at Michigan State University before joining the army.
