During WWII, Atilio “Tee” Topazio was a member of the Special Engineer Detachment (SED) assigned to the K-25 Gaseous Diffusion Plant at Oak Ridge, TN.
Rex McDowell worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
Stemler worked for Stone and Webster Engineering Corporation.
Jean Dow Bacher was born in 1907, and grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She married fellow Ann Arbor native and leading Manhattan Project scientist Robert Bacher in 1930.
