Rosario Martinez Fiorillo grew up in northern New Mexico during the Manhattan Project. Her ancestors were Hispano homesteaders who built the Romero Cabin, an important pre-Manhattan Project structure at Los Alamos.
Elmer C. Sekeres served in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron.
Edward K. Buckley served as a staff sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the radar operator aboard the Great Artiste during the Hiroshima mission.
James S. Duva served as a 2nd lieutenant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the navigator on the B-29 Jabit III on the Hiroshima mission.
