Edward Shapiro was an American scientist and Manhattan Project veteran. After receiving a Ph.D. from Purdue University, Shapiro worked as a research associate for the Manhattan Project at the Metallurgical Laboratory in Chicago and at Oak Ridge.
Francis Kratch worked for the United States Engineer District Office.
Arthur Buck was a security guard for the Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) at the University of Chicago during the Manhattan Project.
G. V. Aldridge worked for the J.A. Jones Construction Company.
