Barney J. O’Keefe served in the military as an ensign during the war. He was a member of Project Alberta, the team that transported and assembled the two atomic bombs preceeding the August 1945 bombing missions on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Earl Morrison worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
Van Reid worked for the United States Engineer District Office. He was in charge of housing layout in the early history of Oak Ridge and had nearly 10 years of service.
Jim Johnson was an ordnanceman at Los Alamos from 1944 to 1945. He was born on January 8, 1926, and started work at the Naval Ordnance Test Station at China Lake, Califiornia in 1944.
