Madonna Elaine Thennes was in born 1925. When she had just graduated from high school in Pocahontas, Arkansas, in 1943, her father told her the military had good-paying jobs for civilians in a new place in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
Kenneth Walsh was an American chemist. Walsh studied as an undergrad at Yankton College in South Dakota.
Koetski worked at the K-25 plant at Oak Ridge during the Manhattan Project. He was also a member of the K-25 basketball team.
