Wesley R. Prohs served in the United States Naval Reserve. He also worked as a member of Project Alberta, the team that transported and assembled the two atomic bombs preceeding the August 1945 bombing missions on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Lt. Col. James C. Stowers was an engineer in the Army Corps of Engineers and became the unit chief for the K-25 Gaseous Diffusion Plant.
Johnston worked at the 200 West Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
Piper worked for Stone and Webster Engineering Corporation.
