John Attanas was born in 1920 and grew up on farm near Kingston, New York. After graduating from Georgia Tech in 1942 with a degree in chemical engineering, he worked in a chemistry lab at the Remington Arms Company.
Leonard M. Blumenfeld served in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron.
Kurt Pfister served in the 1395th Military Police Aviation.
Lillian Guadagna was a technician at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
