Alfred Hanson (1914-2005) was an American physicist. Alfred Hanson came to the Manhattan Project from the University of Wisconsin where he had recently completed his doctoral work, studying the Van de Graaf “long tank” accelerator.
Mike Cohen worked for the A. S. Schulman Electric Company.
Laverne Bloom worked as a Military Policeman from 1945-1946 in Hanford, Washington. While not on guard duty, Bloom often cooked for his troop and occasionally made meals for the director of the Manhattan Project, General Leslie Groves.
Leroy Hartmann (1922 – 1944) was an electrical engineer in the Special Engineer Detachment Manhattan District CE in Oak Ridge.
