R. R. Manganielo served in the 509th Headquarters and Base Services Squadron.
James R. Corliss served as a technical sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was regularly assigned to work as a flight engineer on the Up An’ Atom but did not fly in that plane during the August 1945 bombing missions on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Johnson worked at the 100-B Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
William P. Norris was an associate bio-chemist at the University of Chicago Met Lab. After a stint at the Dow Chemical Company, he joined the Manhattan Project in July 1944.
