Frederick Ashworth (1912 – 2005) was a Vice Admiral in the US Navy. Ashworth’s work on the Manhattan Project began in 1944.
Dr. Richard Baker worked at the Ames Laboratory before transferring to Los Alamos. Considered the father of plutonium chemistry, Baker had a long career at the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
Bill Hartnett worked in plutonium metallurgy for the Manhattan Project at the Hanford Engineer Works from January 1943 to December 1946.
