Eugene G. Zukas worked at Oak Ridge and Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project. Zukas received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1942.
George Cowan joined the Manhattan Project in 1942 at the Met Lab as a chemist for Enrico Fermi’s group, and also worked for Columbia University.
