Martin Skinner was born and raised in Michigan, just outside of Detroit. He was trained in Chemical Engineering at Michigan State University before joining the army.
Gladys Evans worked as a Calutron girl at the Y-12 Plant at Oak Ridge, TN. She experienced the living conditions at Oak Ridge, including the weather, heightened security, and social life.
P. V. Evans worked at the 200 West Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
Bert Weisser worked at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project.
