Mr. U. M. Staebler graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.S. degree in Physics in 1942, and had since devoted his entire professional career to the field of nuclear energy.
Evelyn Ellingson arrived in Oak Ridge in early 1943 when many of the site’s facilities were still being constructed.
W. J. Jackson worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
