William E. Caldes studied chemical engineering at Princeton University. In 1943, he was recruited to join the Manhattan Project, and became the 19th project member at Los Alamos.
Harvey Saylor worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
Joseph Hans worked in the shop at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
