Fred A. Hoey served as a 1st lieutenant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the navigator of the B-29 Full House, which served as a weather reconnaissance plane on the Hiroshima bombing mission, and the backup strike plane on Iwo Jima on the Nagasaki mission.
S. D. McGee worked for the Edenfield Electric Company.
Duren Howard Shields was a staff worker at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project. During his time there, he worked on building the experimental casing for the bomb.
B. B. Bowie worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
