Alice Kimball Smith (1907-2001) was an American historian and educator. Kimball Smith and her husband Cyril Smith, a British metallurgist, moved to Los Alamos in 1943 after Cyril joined the Manhattan Project.
William J. Easton served as a 2nd lieutenant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the pilot regularly assigned to the B-29 Next Objective.
Joseph M. DiJulio served as a sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was regularly assigned as a radar operator on the Up An’ Atom, but did not fly in that plane during the August 1945 bombing missions on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
