National Museum of Nuclear Science & History

Charles Oppenheimer (1975- ) is the grandson of J. Robert Oppenheimer. Although Charles Oppenheimer never met his grandfather, he is well versed in the family history. His father, Peter Oppenheimer grew up at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project. Charlie and his sister Dorothy lived for several years in the Oppenheimer ranch home, Perro Caliente.
