Albert L. Evand was a security guard at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Daniel Lasovick was a scientist at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project. After the war, Lasovick turned down an offer to go to the University of California, Berkeley with the Atomic Energy Commission to enter private industry.
Samuel Allan Kline was a student majoring in physics at the University of Chicago before going to Los Alamos to work as a physicist.
V. J. Johnson worked for the Union Carbide & Carbon Corporation.
