S. A. Gilgon worked for the Roane-Anderson Company.
Walt Simon, a chemist, was Hanford’s first Operations Manager. Before joining the Manhattan Project, he was plant manager at Wabash River Ordnance Works, a DuPont plant near Terre Haute, Indiana.
