Wesley R. Prohs served in the United States Naval Reserve. He also worked as a member of Project Alberta, the team that transported and assembled the two atomic bombs preceeding the August 1945 bombing missions on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Lt. Col. Frank Clayton Thomas entered military service on September 14, 1927, and retired June 14, 1957.
J. B. Ogier worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
Robert H. Shumard served as a sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He worked as an assistant engineer, aiding the other crew engineers with keeping the planes running during bombing missions.
