Laverne Bloom worked as a Military Policeman from 1945-1946 in Hanford, Washington. While not on guard duty, Bloom often cooked for his troop and occasionally made meals for the director of the Manhattan Project, General Leslie Groves.
Diana (Florence Ruth) Russell was a Manhattan Project veteran from the Hanford, Washington facility. Shortly after the end of the war, she started work reading the radiation exposure badges that all employees in the radioactive areas were required to wear.
Steve J. Kinosh, Jr. served as a sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew on the B-29 Full House.
