Captain Frederick Bock had flown many combat missions out of India and China before he was selected to be a part of the the 509th Composite Group in 1944.
Sergeant Ralph Curry was a Radio Operator assigned to the Bockscar’s original crew. He was a member of the 393rd Bombardment Squadron, a segment of the 509th Composite Group.
Augusta Holman worked for the United States Engineer District Office.
