Robert Joseph Maurer (1913-1995) was an American physicist. Maurer received his Ph.D. from the University of Rochester in 1939 and was one of Lee DuBridge‘s last students before DuBridge left to head the Radiation Laboratory at MIT.
H. F. Zimmerman worked for the J.A. Jones Construction Company.
Egon Bretscher (1901-1973) was a chemist and nuclear physicist and was involved in the British atomic bomb effort.
Joseph LaRocco was a security guard at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
