National Museum of Nuclear Science & History

Dennis Faulk began working for the Environmental Protection Agency in 1991. He participated in the early years of Superfund cleanups in the 1990s and served as the project manager of the Hanford EPA before retiring in 2017.

Faulk and his team worked closely with the Department of Energy during environmental cleanup efforts at Hanford. His legacies include helping found the Hanford Advisory Council and successfully opposing the plan to dig up waste burial grounds along the Columbia River.

James Jensen was a machinist at Hanford, Washington from September 1944 to the end of the war. Jensen's security clearance allowed him to machine parts and complete various tasks for the maintenance of the nuclear piles.
