Reuben McCord was a chemist who worked at several Manhattan Project sites. After graduating from Erskine College in South Carolina, he was recruited to work at the University of Chicago Metallurgical laboratory.
J. F. Chapman worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
R. L. Milling worked for the J.A. Jones Construction Company.
Willie Daniels came to Hanford from Texas by way of Oklahoma, where he worked at a naval air station.
