Walter J. Grundhauser was a research assistant the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Ernest M. Bahor was a chemist. He graduated from the University of Detroit. He was a member of the Special Engineer Detachment and worked at the K-25 Plant in Oak Ridge during the Manhattan Project.
Richard Claassen was a research assistant at the SAM Lab at Columbia University from 1944 to 1946. While there, he built and used fluidic systems to test for unusual leaks in diffuser tubes.
