Kenneth Bainbridge (1904-1996) was an American physicist. In September 1940, Bainbridge was the first physicist to be recruited by Ernest Lawrence to the microwave “radio location” project that became the Radiation Laboratory at MIT.
Eleanor Blanchard served as a sergeant in the Women’s Auxiliary Corps during World War II. She worked as a typist at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project and also operated the switchboard for the Tech Area.
Ross Gunn was an American physicist and engineer who aided in the development of isotope separation methods during the Manhattan Project.
