Agnes Gnaedinger was a chemist at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Dr. Richard Baker worked at the Ames Laboratory before transferring to Los Alamos. Considered the father of plutonium chemistry, Baker had a long career at the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
L. D. Martin worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
