Russell Jim is a member of the Yakama Nation near the Hanford site. As the head of the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Indian Nation’s Environmental Restoration and Waste Management Program, he actively advocates for the cleanup of the site and the protection of the treaty rights of the Yakama Nation.
Ethaline Hartge Cortelyou was a junior chemist at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
