Beverly W. Lewis was a chemist at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Isabel Torres worked at the Los Alamos laboratory during and after the Manhattan Project. She commuted from the neighboring community of Santa Cruz, first by truck, then by bus.
Orville D. Priest was born June 10th, 1918. He served in the US Army in the 1940’s during a very difficult and important time in our country’s history.
