Robert J. Dowling served as a staff sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 Laggin’ Dragon.
Gastkill worked at the 100-D Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
Elmer began working with the Manhattan Project in 1941. He was one of the first people to arrive at Oak Ridge and experienced first-hand some of the difficulties there with cyclotrons and isotope separation.
B. R. Rodriguez served in the 390th Air Service Group.
