Francis Birch (1903-1992) was an American geophysicist. In 1942, Birch worked at the MIT Radiation Lab, which was tasked with radar development.
Winona Schiepel was as a civilian contractor for various projects in the K-25 plant at Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
Warren Sheehan joined Mound Laboratory in April 1956. He spent the first half of his career in health physics, or radiation safety, where he developed a new methodology for determining the amount of plutonium in urine.
