Harris Small was stationed in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, in the Special Engineer Department (SED). He served as a supervising civilian operator of shifts (the Calutron girls) at the Y-12 Electromagnetic Separation Plant.

Ralph R. McCoy served in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron.
