Martin Skinner was born and raised in Michigan, just outside of Detroit. He was trained in Chemical Engineering at Michigan State University before joining the army.
W. Maddox worked in the shop at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Fred Smith worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
