A native of the West Virginia mountains, C. N. Gross came to Hanford in January, 1944, from Wilmington, to be a reactor consultant.
Esther Stenstrom arrived at Oak Ridge in 1943, after she and her husband were picked to work in the secret city.
Huckleberry worked at the 300 Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
