Dorothy Louise Stinnett graduated as the valedictorian of the 1943 Class of Lenoir City, TN. She was then hired to work on the Manhattan Project at Oak Ridge, where she lived in a trailer for a while.
Wayne Marshall was a research associate at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
William Byrnes served in the 1st Ordnance Squadron.
K. G. MacLeish worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
