Edith Truslow (1911-2002) was a lietutant in the Women’s Army Corps (WACs) when she was offered a job at Los Alamos as a historian in 1946. During her time at Los Alamos she co-wrote the history of Los Alamos with David Hawkins and Ralph C. Smith. She was credited as one of the co-authors of Project Y: The Los Alamos Story, in 1984 when the history was declassified and published. After she finished her work at Los Alamos, she became a civilian professional photographer.
