Claude C. Gilliam served as a corporal in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 The Great Artiste.
William W. Atterson lived in Oak Ridge Tennessee and worked at the Y-12 plant where he was in charge of keeping the machine’s working and making sure the work place was running smoothly.
Theodore B. (“Ted”) Novey was a research assistant at the University of Chicago Met Lab and Oak Ridge.
