Edgar A. Poe Jr. served as a private first class in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 Necessary Evil.
Lawrence Vest was a civil scientist at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project.
B. H. Hagedorn worked for the Edenfield Electric Company.
