Alvin Graves (1909-1965) was an American physicist. Graves was invited to join the University of Chicago Metallurgical Laboratory and in 1942 he accepted the position and became a member of the Manhattan Project.
Otto Frisch (1904-1979) was an Austrian-born physicist. Frisch joined the Manhattan Project in 1943, but his most important contribution to the project came in 1940 in England.
Celeste Hand was a switchboard operator at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
