Colonel James Marshall (1897-1977) was district engineer of the Manhattan Engineer District. Marshall earned a position in the Army Corps of Engineers during his years at West Point.
William P. Jesse was a research associate at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Chester A. Hammond served as a corporal in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew on the B-29 Full House.
