Pierre Victor Auger was born in Paris on May 14, 1899. He was a French physicist, whose work focused on atomic, cosmic ray, and nuclear physicists.
Martha Zukas was a nurse at Oak Ridge and Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project. One of nine children, Zukas grew up in Ellwood City, PA.
Margaret M. Emmerson was a technician at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
J. Webb worked for the Roane-Anderson Company.
