Melvin H. Bierman

Melvin H. Bierman served as a sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. Bierman was regularly assigned as a tail gunner in the Up An’ Atom, but did not fly in that plane in the August 1945 bombing missions on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Treadwell worked at the 100-B and 100-D Areas at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.

Harris Harold Levee served in the Special Engineering Detachment at the Metallurgical Laboratory at the University of Chicago on the Manhattan Project.
