William L. Murphy was a Technical Sargeant in the US Army who worked as part of Project Alberta, the team that transported and assembled the two atomic bombs in July and August 1945.
Gilbert worked at the 200 West Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
F. C. Liepman worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
