E. Frank Miller was working at DuPont’s Belle Works in August 1943 when he was recruited to the TNX segment of DuPont working on the Manhattan Project by Dr.
Lt. Col. James C. Stowers was an engineer in the Army Corps of Engineers and became the unit chief for the K-25 Gaseous Diffusion Plant.
A. L. DeSpain worked at the 200 East Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
