Robert J. Stock served as a sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was regularly assigned as a tail gunner to the Bockscar, but did not fly on that plane during the Nagasaki bombing mission in August of 1945.
Frederic William Albaugh (1913-1999) was an American chemist. He received a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Michigan in 1941.
