Eleese Bowman was a laboratory assistant in the Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) at the University of Chicago during the Manhattan Project.

Claude E. McLenon served as a technical sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 Big Stink, and he and his crew were later reassigned to Luke the Spook.
Brawley worked in the United States Engineer District Office.
